ball joint removal

Never done it. I had the control arm to frame side off for cv axles so thats good. Is taking the ball joint side of the control arm all about force or is there a trick? Then putting in the new one just push right up there? Sorry for the ignorance I have never done ball joints.

Make sure you knock the bolt all the way out.
If you examine the casting between...where the...head of the bolt and nut where...you will see an opening in the casting that can be pryed open (not to much)...once openned slightly...the arm might fall right out or just need a slight tap to knock it out.
