Well, heres the news. I let Bruce sit all day yesterday and it was a kinda warm day. I took him down to the store this morning and all seems well. I got him up to full temp and drove hard. Did not act up. I am not comfertable driving him to work so I will take my gfs Lumina (1996 142K for sale pm offers). Now the front turns don't work again. I'm compltly speechless.

No VSS from the factory. Dealer cruise control added one inline with the speedo cable, but that was just for cruise.

I just got home form work an hour ago and test drove Bruce again. Took a trip on the highway and down the back roads. It is cold a rainy so ti was hard to get the RPMs up but he did good, idle seems low but I think hes OK. My better half says she prayed for the car to fix itself (she knows how broke I am) and it seems it may have done just that. And for all his hard work I am giving Bruce a new valve cover gasket Tues. I am also going to paint the brackets body color and (try) polish the VC. I cannot say how much I appreciate everyones help, I get a bit pesimistic about my cars and kinda expect the worse from every little hicup. Thanks again.

Ayep, something just needed to dry out!
Me, when I clean it out, I used compressed air to blow everything dry, on a HOT, and sunny day, then just let her sit for a day, day and a half before I drive her....
As far as sweet talking making it weak, My baby car likes the love, I will ALWAYS sweet talk her when she acts up, and she at least never leaves me stranded
