  • Festiva/Aspire muffler match?

    Hey all,
Well i need a new muffler ('88 L+, manual, carb, stock exhaust), and i figured i could get a decent non-rusty one at Pick a part for about $10 (auto parts stores want at least 45 it seems).
Q: Are the festiva and aspire mufflers interchangeable? Also the muffler heat shield?
(just in case all they have is an Aspire).
Searched the forums and could not find my answer.

    Thanks!
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

if you weld it on, you can bet its interchangeable. where do you live? i have a stock muffler in good condition minus a jagged end to the pipe, you can have it if your close enough.\
EDIT: Couldn't see your location in the reply page, i guess it wouldn't be worth the trip haha, sorry man.

Hey, thanks for the offer anyway; much appreciated. I know if i go to pickapart they'll have a festy or two, and since this is SoCal, they'll be rust-free, so hopefully i can get one cheap.
Just trying to save every penny these days!

You can buy a brand new one for $30 -40. Why bother with a used one?
