has anyone put grease fittings on their lower control arms?
if so, did you put them on the bottom or the side on the ball joint?

I've never done this. You'd have to drill a hole and tap it to screw a grease fitting in, right?

Done it, put the grease fits at the bottom, use moly grease. and yes you have drill it very slowly and also put some grease in the drill so you may catch all the metal shavings.
Tap it also with grease, clean everything, fill with grease and your good to go.
I did cause when I changed mines, just for curiosity, I removed the dust cap and find no grease at all.
Sorry for the spelling, but some one took away the ABC botton

thats what i thought, to do it on the bottom. i've gotten tired of replacing them every two to three years.
is their a reason to use moly grease instead of regular lithium based greases?

The moly grease is for high pressure applications so it is a lot better than the regular litihum.
