The atx brakes are better because the thicker rotor means better cooling and less chance of warping. It doesnt matter whitch you use as long as you remember which you used. The thicker rotor means wider calipers so you have to buy the brakes for the car you got the swap from. I have a 5speed car and used atx brake swap from a 97 Aspire so when I buy new brakes Ill buy them for a 97 Aspire w/auto.

okay thats what i thought.... so this makes everything complicated.... the auto aspires breaks look like **** at my yard... so i was going to go with the mtx brakes but well i need all the stopping power i can get... i wish my festiva was a 5spd.. can't find a festiva tranny in my price range...

it has everything i could drive it right out of the yard if i wanted to with some fluids.. i tried to buy it from them but they wouldn't sell it.. yes it has it's 5spd.. but a aspire's tranny is different then a festiva gear ratio.. or i would be all over it... that and from what i heard a festiva tranny is better...
