  • Fuel injector

Hey, i got the #2 fuel injector on my 92 EFI 5spd, when it is sit to idle, and the computer slows down the idle speed, it idles very slow but i think it would be ok with all 4, once in a while you will hear the car's idle bounce up to normal for a second, is this fuel injector giving a bit only just not enough?
i am going to run a lucas gas additive, uper cylinder lubricant with injector cleaner, if the injector was just clogged would maybe get it working again?
And will a fuel filter that needs to be replaced, make this problem worse?
    Thanks,
    Sean

If an injector has a problem....you feel it at all driving conditions...not only at idle...you may experience some lack of power at highway speed or climbing a hill.

    The Lucas additive cann't hurt.

I would check the base timing and idle. Also I would look for a leak in the inlet air ducts and manifold vaccum.

Also...just some info...the O2 sensor can cause some idle RPM hunting...a change at idle every minute or two...not a lot...but noticable.

oh it lacks power allright, pin it can only do 130. Is there a chance the injector may have very little flow but enough to get some cleaner through it?
      are 02 sensors cheap?
      Thanks
