  • What is this? (with photos)

I was installing a new strut on the driver's side front when this fell out. Any ideas what it is? And is it important? It's only the suspension area, couldn't be that important

That is what it looks like to me too but it's pretty big to be that.

It could be you picked up some road debris. I don't remember seeing anything like it on my Festy and I just did the bearings. Doesn't look like anything from the engine compartment either.

Well, I test drove Levistiva with nothing falling off, so I guess it's nothing important. It does look exactly like a vacuum plug, but waaaay bigger.

Hey SoCALZ28, I don't appreciate you showing my baby pics to the world!!!!

I sell those for bypass plugs on water pumps (to plug the nipple going to the heater core)

I found a Spark plug gap puck in the fender of my 88 L. It was branded WesternAuto. They got bought out 10 years ago. Still have it down stairs.

I vote for road debris - haven't come across anything like that in either Festiva yet.

Could it have fit on the end of the spring itself?

I'll bet it's a Advance Auto now, or gone.

When I did my Aspire swap there wasnt any of those things in my car so I vote for road trash.
