  • Is there a place to buy new stock festiva engines??

Just curious if there is a place to buy new festiva engines. Just thinking that the festiva that may have a bad engine looks great, has air, if transmission is good, maybe a new engine would be a great idea??? With fuel prices as they are, it wouldn't take long to pay for a new engine!

Any place you know of sell new festiva engines? If so, anyone tried them??? Fuel mileage??? Easy to install???

    Thanks!

I ordered a pair of used smoothy euro tail lights from them last year. Didn't have a problem. They sometimes sell there engines on ebay. I've seem them on there for a sale price of 1495.00. Not sure if that included shipping though.

For the price of a new engine... Why not source a better 323 engine and swap that it? It's a direct bolt in, everything will work the same as on the stock engine... and you'll have a little more pep too...

I have two of the FMS crate engines. Just a couple of notes..... They have solid lifter valve trains, you will reuse your dipstick, and oil filter threaded nipple, the camshaft has no eccentric for mechanical fuel pumps if you have a carb car, if replacing the early engine, be sure to get the large diameter crank pulley, and the cooling fan temp switch is the larger diameter like on the later engines.

Wow, thanks everyone for the information! Couple of questions...

The 323 engine... where can I find them? What about fuel mileage... how does that affect it? What auto's do they come out of? My husband may be able to find one!!

Michael... the things that are different on the crate engines... is it difficult to put in??
