mystery smoke

I have just recently put my a new clutch in and put the engine all back together and have been driving it around, close to my house, just in case. I have a mystery smoke coming from around the air intake region on top of the motor?? I cant really see where its coming from, it smells like burning rubber, but cant see anything melting??

Any thoughts??

Is there any noise coming from the engine that changes as you accelerate? Is a constant smoke or you notice it from time to time?

air intake as in throttle or air intake as in intake manifold attached to the head? Make sure all metal to metal gaskets are sealing. Is it from the valve cover?

It is the air intake manifold attached to the head. it doesnt appear to be coming from the valve cover, its white smoke, so its not burning oil or anything. i think it might be a wiring issue, thats what my dad suggested it smelled like. But im not sure. every time it gets hot it smokes and come into the car, so i dont know. I was feeling around and under the air intake it was really hot, so I guess i will keep looking around.
