    im replacing my tie rod boots, do i fill them with grease? and if so what kind?

        Outer tie rod boots?

        Exposing the inner tie rod 'ball joint'....wipe it free of grease and grime...cover the joint with some decent MPG or Bearing Grease will suffice.

          I think he means the rack bellows and the boots on the outer tie rod ends?

            im replacing the boots deep under the car, the inner boots? they are about 7 inches long and corrugated

              its a dust boot that covers the steering gear housing i think
