  • fuel pump leak

So, in addition to having to get a new radiator, now the fuel pump is leaking. ('88 L+, carb, 200k)
So, is there a certain brand, or a certain place you get them that you like?
Also, it looks really easy to R&R, but is there anything i should know that's not in the shop manual?
    Thanks!
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

I got mine at a national discount chain - Canadian Tire - about $35 at the time.
Replacement is straight forward, two bolts and a gasket.
Pulls right out of the engine block. The pump arm rests on a
cam on the camshaft. As the camshaft turns the pump arm
goes up and down and pumps the gas.

There is a spacer (about 3/16" thick) between the pump and the head. Make sure that spacer stays with the head and isn't stuck fast to the old fuel pump. You will need to re-use that spacer.
      You gonna race that thing?
