okay I have a 91' festiva 5speed with about 250000km on it. this car has withstood my endless beatings on it and it just wont die. my problem is me and my friends were messing around and my buddy pushed my car backwards in gear and ever since then it runs like garbage under a certain rpm. it still seems to have good pull up top but it idles like it has a huge cam in it. and it just wont stay running half the time.
I think the timing jumped because that would be the reason why it still has good pull once the computer advances the timing.
how do I go about setting base timing? I have a timing gun so its not hard for me to do.
if there is anything anywone might suspect to be a problem let me know..
