  • Tach cluster - tripmeter is screwy

Got my tach cluster in yesterday, and its pretty much perfect, except for the tripmeter. Every tenth of a mile I go down the road *every* digit goes forward a tenth, not just the tenth digit.

So is this something I can fix, like the gears are stuck together or something? Or did I just get hoed?

Oh yeah and is there a way to disable that stupid headlight warning buzzer or something?

Nevermind, fixed it. The itty bitty little rod that goes thru the gears for the tripmeter was out of place. I also rolled the odo forward to my actual mileage.

On second note I just filled the gas tank and got just shy of 47 mpg. My best yet. Going for 50 within the next month.

Oh yeah also had some hillbilly in a giant 80s suburban ask me if I would sell it to him. lol
