door hardware
i have a 89 festiva and the door latch hardware is screwed up on the inside of the door. i tried all the local salvage yards and no one has a festiva. so my question is does anyone out there know weather i can use the door latch hardware out of an aspire and make it work? also does anyone know of a website where they may show a pic of the two so that i may compare them to see the diffrence in them?

is the door handle itself messed up..................i might have five or six laying aroundA Horse, A Horse my kingdom for a Horse. (well maybe just a rust free festy will do)

the problem started when someone broke into it and screwed up the key hole. then i replaced it and started having problems with it unlocking. so i removed the door panel from the inside to take a look and i just made it worse by trying to remove a piece off the latch that was hanging up when i went to unlock it. so now it wont lock at all and i have to replace the whole latch on the inside.FF-89Comment
