Does a 93 festiva have an EGR valve? If so where is it? I can not find one anywhere on the engine.

it's on the passanger side of the engine. Just to the left of the intake manifold. Looks like a flying saucer.
I wrote a tech article on how to clean it, but it's on the ezboard archives....which is currently down right now.www.dantheoilman.com

If you see the PCV valve, then look towards the rear of the car, and down.
It has an electrical harness on the top and a vacuum line that plugs into some hard lines on the backside of the intake manifold.www.dantheoilman.com

I can't find mine either. Looked on passenger side, and drivers side.
I should post up some pictures to show you my engine cause I can find it anywhere. Nothing on the passenger side at all, on the drivers side is the idle-air bypass.
Does anyone have any pictures with the egr on the engine

From what I've seen, FI Festiva's don't have an EGR valve - carbed ones do - and Aspires do too.
When I was looking for motors - some dumbo at a rebuild place put the idea in my head that some B3 cyl heads don't have the exhaust port on the back side for the EGR (which since FI Festiva didn't have a EGR valve I believed this). But once I started tearing down a FI engine for the block ( I got a lower mileage head off of an Aspire - unfortunately it was wrecked and the whole mounting pad for the motor mount got ripped off of the block! - Lucking the head was still fine). The head on the FI motor had the EGR port there - it was just covered by the manifold since it didn't have an EGR valve.
