    I'm hooking up a tach in my festy and can't find the negative side to the ignition coil for my tach wire. I need help!

    i just used a test light, ground the light to a bolt (frame) poke wire if light lites up you completed the circuit and the other wire would be your negative

        Just get a new cluster "Bladerunner", you can pick one up on eBay for like $30 and you got yourself original tach, which by the way is already pre-wired in your system. It's basically plug n play!!! I love mine alot!
