  • Carbed Festiva Issue

I have a 1989 Festiva, and the bottom of the mechanical fuel pump seems to be spitting oil out. Is this really possible? It doesn't look like its leaking around the gasket, and when I hold my finger under one of the vent holes on the bottom of the pump it secretes oil, not gasoline.

The fuel pump is attached to the engine, inside the engine the fuel pump is driven off an eccentric. It is possible for the oil to come out through the fuel pump, like Wolfdag said replace the pump.
