Just bought my 93GL knowing I had to do some work. Just replaced the head gasket with valve job, water pump, timing belt, A/C belt w/ Idler Pully, thermostat, all hoses, oil & coolant change. Also put a ground wire on as that was missing (it would crank somehow without it). The car ran great for 24 hours and then wouldn't crank earlier today. Got it cranked but had to stand on the gas to get it going. Ran fine once cranked. It turns over fine but just won't fire. Any ideas of what I might be missing?

im betting you missed a connection that was removed to do the work, like the VAF or TPS.Trees aren't kind to me...
