  • WOW! just WOW

IDK if anyone cars but this is the 1st time that I actually get to pull a car apart.

So far I got the rad and the exhaust mani out. Had trouble pulled hoses out until i said fudge it and used a screwdriver and it helped alot.

ITS FUN to just pull a car apart not knowing anything then starting ton learn where everythng is.

Got a manual (90-00 323/protege haynes). Can't stand the chiltons.

Next obsticle, getting tranny out. The thing is no hoist so anyone got advice without using a hoist. can i just carry it out with two friends?

You don't need a hoist at all to get the transmission out... I've gotten it in/out by myself.... a bit akward, but it's light enough that it's not too difficult.

Just use a floor jack to support the engine from below when you remove the crossmember, and lower it slowly until you can drop the transmission out from below.
