      ??? how so, inquiring minds want to know!! thought it was more of a synthetic rubber.
      Trees aren't kind to me...

          I'm sure I used acetone to clean up the glue after I removed my moldings for paint... It sure looked like urethane

            Not an authority on the chemicals, but I would suggest a 3/4" or 1" Copper Fitting Brush to remove the residual with whatever solvent or chemical you choose. You can also heat the bristles directly before trying to remove the adhesive - (without the chemicals of course)

              How about air craft stripper/remover...If that doesn't remove it try pop rocks and coke!! J/K

                freeze and chip, thats how i do it, co2 or liquid nitrogen work great, just wear gloves and be careful with any exposed skin, oor wait till dead of winter and do it then. works good on the pitch used to hold sound insulation on too.
                is not sposed ta do that...
