Instrument Cluster Noises-Grease Where?

Hello,

I had my original Cluster in that was Making the Noises from the Speedo cable. Purchased another Cluster w/Tachometer & Hooked it up. Before I hooked the Cable I kind of Lubed the Skinny cable that goes inside the Cluster However, It still makes the Noise.

My question is Where else was I supposed to Grease this thing at? Thanks for any Help

Check the cable to see if it is striped/ broken somewhere. what kind of noise is it? if it's a grinding noise it could be from the trans itself. Have you checked both ends of the spedo cable?

No Damaged anyware- The "Grinding" Noise is coming from the Cluster. I Honestly been thinking about sending it to Dakota Digital & have them rig me up something that would'nt rely on Cable or "Gears"
