  • How too fix air filter box?

One of the brass threads that is molded into the bottom part of the air filter box has come out.

Has anyone done a repair that works?

    If so how?

Never used it yet, but epoxy should work fine!
Just make sure you don't get any on the internal threads.

One of mine let go years ago....take the cover off...remove the insert (nut) and remove all of the plactic filling the grooves of the nut.....clean the nut and plastic housong well...glue back in place....besure to keep the screw out while the glue is drying. I think I used an epoxy putty...JB-Weld or Devcon.
