I'm doing the engine transplant in my aspire. I bought a new exedy clutch kit. The release bearing in the kit was thicker than the one on it. Well after I finally got it together, the clutch alignment tool is in there for a reason btw, the clutch seems to be partially disengaged as we can push the car when its in gear. I can't remember but I think it was almost all of the way to the end of the bolt, I wasn't thinking and tightened it instead of loosening it. Is there a cap I was supposed to take off of the release bearing? I just though about that, or is there something else i'm not doing?
