1990 Festiva squeaks when I turn.

Hey, I just got my very first Festiva about three days ago. Its a 1990 5-speed. Every time I turn I hear a high pitched squeaking and squealing coming from up front. I'm no expert on cars at all, any ideas what this could be??

does it have power steering?(I think this is very rare)

does it sound like it's coming from a specific side. or when you turn either way?

Probably a dry tie rod end or ball joint.

No power steering, it happens when I turn either way. I'll look into the the tie rod end and ball joint.

It could be the strut mounts too.

Does it make the sound while turning the wheel to either side while sitting still or after you turn the wheel and then make the turn?
