hesitation?

car's a automatic. has a problem of it dieing when it's cold.(first start it). if you start it and it revs up and sounds good and about 3 seconds later it dies out. unless you give it gas. once you rev it up for a minute or 2 it will stay running. and gets better as it warms up. I was worse the airflow meter has been replaced and it got a bit better but still the same problem.

anybody have an Idea or similar experiance? my parts store is closed till tuesday so wires and cap and rotor are next on my list. plugs were changed today and no change happened.

chech that the IAC is working (stepper motor) and that the orifaces are clear. (IAC is you idle speed control)

Also check the Throttle position Sensor (TPS)....switch closed when the accelerator pedal is not toched.
