Don't know that you can download the manual. Is there something specific you need to know from there for right now? If not, they are at Autozone around here all the time.

I bought mine at Advance Auto and have also seen them at O'Reilly's. Haven't seen one online before.

You bought a Haynes manual and it's not working properly?
Mine works okay, no problems so far.

Mr. Haynes would not like it if people put his manuals online.
Something to do with copyright. You can buy one at an auto parts store for about $25, and sometimes find them at second hand book stores.

            Here it is(on my ftp) - ftp://89.209.87.37/Haynes Ford Festi...air manual.pdf
            Maybe you can open it...

Areyou trying to figure out electrical connections, or vacuum hose connections?? Didn't remember there being that many electrical connections to be made. 1 round connector, and 2 flat ones. Now, the hose connections are a bit of a nightmare. Downloading the manual now, will let you know if I can open it.

Hose connectors are not connected at all
                Thanks.

The second one I bought, "Haynes Mazda 323 88 owners repair manual 81- 89.pdf"(it is also available on ftp) works fine, but there is no info about all this stuff...

I didn't know Haynes manuals were avialable for purchase online. Adobe acrobat readers
                    can be downloaded for free.

There have been vacuum hose diagrams in earlier threads in this forum.
I'd try the search feature. The Haynes manual doesn't cover them.
It does have wiring diagrams at then end of the manual with the
colour coding of the wires noted.

Okay, had no luck trying to copy the link over here, but if you search 'vacuum hose diagram' it will take you to a thread with several diagrams pictured. Not sure on the electrical connections, and bear with me I'm doing this from memory, but mine had a four wire set going through a round connector, a two wire set going through a flat connector, and a single wire that connected to the alternator. I am assuming that you are talking about the wiring directly connected to replacing the carb. If I am assuming wrong, then please disregard.

So, have you gotten it all back together? Just kind of wondering what the status was. BTW, I updated my Adobe, and still had no luck opening the haynes. Think I'd just head to a parts store and pick one up.

oh yea, and also, the wiring diagrams and some other stuff are available in that folder individually from the pdf in the origianl gif format (thats right, no downsizing, all of it is in the original high resolution from the website from which I bought it!), to browse the directory, you can go here
