I believe the recommended oil is 10-W30, although that could change depending on where you live...some folks run 5-30.1989 Red L- The Baron

it was recommended in the owners manual for 10W40, but i've always used 10w30 and had no problems.89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power... :twisted:

I was using rotella t 5w40 syn, and just switched to penz platinum 5w20 syn. Long as it aint leaking out (and it isnt), its all good. Maybe ill squeeze a lil more mpg out with it.
Only thing im worried about is we have sliders and not rollers. Supertech syn wiped out my tbirds slider valvetrain, supposedly.91GL BP/F3A with boost
13.79 @ 100, 2.2 60' on 8 psi and 155R12's

I ended up getting CASTROL GTX 20W-50 . Will see how it goes.
