  • Temp Gauge

    Hey guys,

My temp gauge doesn't appear to work. It never moves. I dropped in the sending unit to a manual gauge and read about 170 degrees after running it so I don't believe it is overheating, but not having a gauge to go by worries me. It has never ever moved. Anyone else?

Mine did the same thing. it was the temp sensor that goes into the thermostat housing.

Is there any way to test these sensors? Some of these things are expensive.

You can probably check it with an Ohm meter. Its either going to be opened or closed.
