  • Alternator wiring question

    Hello everybody,

Has anybody else noticed that in Alldatadiy's alternator connector drawings (under "Alternator Undercharges" "Voltage Output Test" and "Regulator Power Source Test" the terminal callouts are swapped from one drawing to the next? In Fig. 2 they call the horizontal terminal "R", and in the very next drawing the horizontal terminal is "L". Anybody know which is correct? Thanks.
Ok, I've seen the future. Can I go home now?

    Re: Alternator wiring question

Well, I just answered my own question; maybe somebody else can benefit. On one of my alternators the data tag is still legible, and it has a little symbol showing the "R" terminal as the horizontal one.
    Thanks anyway, Flinger.
