  • Oil Filter Recomendations???

O.K. Guys, Got her running so the next step is to change the oil. I'm going full synthetic and wanted to know what is recommended as far as the oil filter( mainly uprating the size for a bit more oil capacity) but don't want to screw up by pass pressures, etc. Any recommendations?

    Thanks ,
    Chris

P.S. How much oil does this little devil hold???

    3.6 quarts roughly.

Personally, I use a lot of supertech, wix, pureone, and motorcraft filters.

I'm an AMSOIL dealer and I run 10k intervals with AMSOIL and I refuse to pay $6 to $12 for an oil filter. I'm sorry, but supertechs are built decently well, have a fair amount of media, and provide me with a great cost vs performance ratio.

    For 3x the money I won't get 3x better filteration, I won't get 3x better flow, and I won't get a filter that lasts 3x longer. So I won't pay 3x more.

Basically, don't buy Fram and you'll be alright.
