I took more apart today. The right rear spring insulator (at the top) is hanging off. Is there anywhere to get these? I can't seem to find any!

Thats a good idea! If all else fails on getting the actual parts, I'll just do that. Anything will be better than the dried up pieces that are falling off, haOriginally posted by FB71 View Postyou can use a piece of heater hose threaded over the first coil of the spring in place of the isolator.

I know this is an old thread but instead of starting a new one on the same subject I though I would just add on to this one.
So is there now a source anywhere for the spring isolators? What is the experience of those people who have used heater hose threaded over the end of the coils?
I'm getting ready to rebuild a couple of struts and would really like to have new isolators too.Last edited by 1990new; 07-18-2017, 09:35 PM.

Ok, dragonhealer gave me a part number for a current mazda part that fits the front. I went to the mazda dealer and bought 2. When i went to install them i was in a hurry and couldnt get them to sit on there nice. My original ones were in good shape so i just threw them on.
Heres the info.

I looked up the number and those are supposed to be for a Mazda Miata (MX5) and I'm not sure they will match up very on the Festiva struts.Originally posted by ryanprins13 View PostOk, dragonhealer gave me a part number for a current mazda part that fits the front.
