    AC compressor ticks at idle

put a oil charge in tick is better but still there.

Heard another aspire ticking also at lite

Seems the compressor does not turn off

is it just a relief valve releasing the pressure?

I Live in FL and it has been over 90 each day for 50 or so days new record
    AC is very important

Mine does the exact same thing (except that it cycles like it should). When I bought the car, I thought the condenser fan was hitting something... tick, tick, tick, tick,... But in reality it was the compressor "ticking". When you rev up the engine, it goes away and the A/C works fine.

I'm thinking it is something in the clutch, but I don't know. Hopefully someone will chime in and give us an answer.
