Hey all , New guy here with a problem on my 97 aspire 5 speed .
The only other transportation I have is my 04 CBR1000rr and it 20* , SO i need to get my Apsire FIXED ASAP .
My fuel pump died on me last week and i replaced it and the car ran fine .
Now the car will run a for while then stall out an die and wont restart for days . It has good fuel pressure , good spark (verified spark timing) , no codes except the random missifre code it has had for the last 20k miles .
The problem is the injectors are not firing , the car will start if you dump propane into the manifold or starting fluid , but won't supply its own fuel via injector pulse .
I back probed the connectors and its not firing them . The ecu Definitely works as I stay connected in monitor mode on my obd2 scanner . I get readings for all the available sensors .
I have never experienced and injector driver failure in an ECU , except when using the wrong impedance injectors .
Im not to sure how the ECU work in the aspire's , which side determines fueling ? Is it the Crank or the cam positioning sensor ?
I'm stumped ? Any thoughts ?
