  • Window problem

I have a few Festivas with the same problem. The side windows do not close evenly, and when they get to the top I have to close them by pushing them up by hand. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.

happens more in the cold then warm. You can lube the track and it helps but new regulators really help....they get worn out after time. Someone else mentioned one other problem , something inside with the regulator that could be fixed I guess....never checked that one out.

When my driver's side gets to the top I have to push latteraly to get it to go betwwen the rubber seals. Otherwise no problem as I have greased the channel when the inside panel was off.

check for a loose track in the front of the door, that has a tendancy to get loose and slip down allowing the glass to move about in the door shell.

that would be the front track and it would be the rivet that becomes loose

and instead of using wd40 that tends to smear, i would use spray silicone to spray into the window runs(tracks) on both vertical sides of the window

and also you may want to check the two 10mm bolts that bolts through the window at the bottom, to make sure they are tight and have not stripped out( after all, they screw into plastic clips) which may let the window rock to the point of jamming up
