will a 96 aspire blinker assembly fit a 97 aspire?

The whole assembly on my 97 cracked and exploded so I have flick what lever is left to turn and the bright lights are always on

I am trying to find out if I can just plug and play the whole assembly from a 96, or maybe even other years?

I would say yes,but if you have both parts in hand,does everything look the same?
They were only made for four years here!

no it will not fit. the entire front end is different on the 97 aspires so only 97 will fit properly

He's not talking about the front end,he wants to know if the turn signal switch on the steering column will fit?

I don't see why not, however it is not a guarantee.
Apart from cosmetics, nearly everything is interchangable from 95 to 97 (99 in oz).
