  • New hatch hookup...lil' help

Here are pics of my BEAUTIFUL new (to me ) $35.00 hatch.I want to just swap it out. Now,I don't need to hook anything up except the tag lights( I don't have bottle or switch, yet).I showed pics of the wires that come out.Can I just cut/splice mine where they go in the car or ???
Also,is there a way to test the tag lights first ?Should I just swap out my old,I know they work.
I took extra pics because I have 3 festivas and this hatch is just Beautiful here in Ohio.Looks new.We have way too much rust.Going back to get doos, hood and fenders soon. All for under $100 total.

dang, they cut your wires?!? i would have had them wait and unpluged the harness on the driverside and then pulled the harness out before they removed it (it's really easy to do)

I would unplug the wires in your old hatch and feed them into the new hatch so it all works when you get the rest of the parts.
