festiva trio 99 1.5l not starting

went to start after night shift, cranks but doesn't start. No spark and no fuel. Changed ECU but still persisting. Any help appreciated.

I bet he's from Australia. It was always the festiva over there. You can also check out fordaspire.com the car model you have is known as an aspire here in the states, and there are a lot of people from Oz that have a lot of knowledge about the OBDII systems.

I Am From Au Brisbane. It Is A Ford Festiva 99 Model, 1.5l Manual Wx Model. In European Countries They Call It Avella For Sure.

check to make sure fuel is getting to the engine..no fuel = no start. after your crank the engine, take the spark plugs out to see if the chamber is wet. could be plug wires and or distributor too. thats what i'd check first.

I would say clean your MAF with some good electrical components cleaner, and maybe check your cap and rotor on the disty.

I AM SURE THAT FUEL IS NOT GETTING TO THE ENGINE, BUT i am still looking where is the fuel pump relay in my model or if there is an inertia switch in series with it.

innertia switch is in the rear hatch area, on the left hand plastic there should be an access pannel
