  • Headlight covers

I've seen tinted covers for focus, & other cars, are there any for Festi? Mostly I need them to soak up the hits my lights keep taking from rocks since the f-ing county doesn't grade the roads around here more than once every two months.

I know what you mean about protecting your lights. I bought relatively cheap plastic "bubble" covers when I put Cibie Z Beams on my '76 Chevette years ago, then transferred them to my beloved '81 Civic. Those fit the old round 7" hi-lows.

Some company made clear and tinted headlight covers for the Festiva, but the name now escapes me. I'd love a set of the clears, but I myself stay away from the tinted ones. I want MORE light, not LESS.

Look around and you may find some, but they're hard to find. Especially the clear ones.

A few of our members have gotten them.

Replacing the lenses isn't cheap. They want close to $200 for new ones, and used ones usually run about half that.

          I sell/install 3m paint protection film.

Throw that on your headlights. Should prevent rocks from breaking it (or at least help a lot).

I think I'm going to screw on a couple pieces of 1/4" steel over the top of mine. That should keep them safe huh?

Gee, I'm not sure about that. Maybe you should use titanium.

I have some old clear GTS headlight covers on mine. I kept having stones go right through my headlights too. I was looking for another set but have not been able to find any. I doubt GTS still makes them though. I bought them from JC Whitney about 7 years ago. Good Luck with your search.
