  • fms rotors and pads vs aspire swap

i think the title says it all.
i know the bolt pattern benefit of the aspire swap but i really care about actuall braking performance. All 3 of my festy's stop like poop. they seem to take much more effort to stop than they should.

there is amazing braking power with the aspire swap, the stock aspire brake parts would probably be easier to get then cross drilled and slotted festiva rotors

I would recommend doing the aspire swap before getting slotted festiva rotors

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

There is also the matter of the press fit for the bearings on the rotors. The Aspire swap would eliminate this problem also.

Probably similar stopping power as the aspire but then you still have the bad design with the rotors behind the hub. And you're still stuck with the festiva bolt pattern and not the more popular 4x100 pattern.

aha, I was right about the capri having the festiva pattern Oh and definitely do the aspire swap, it provides excellent stopping power, wheel choices, and much tighter handling for the back of the car
                No festiva for me ATM...
