    I was just wondering if anybody is using synthetic ATF in their automatics?

    I have been debating that myself. I hear it is as good or better than regular ATF.

      paraffin based oils blow synthetic's out of the water i personaly use cenpeco http://www.cen-pe-co.com/

      but for the most part most synthetics with outperform conventional oils.

        Never used it in my Festiva, but I put Royal Purple in my Volvo 740's transmission.

        It shifted smooth as silk and I got about 2 mpg better.

        I'd imagine you might get the same results in a Festiva.

          I am using it in my 88 Festiva shifts a little smoother, have not noticed any better gas mileage. It's been in for about two and a half years and approx.30.000 miles.
