  • DJ: A Genius!

I have been trying to find out where water was getting into the rear area of the Baron...finally found that the source was the tail light gaskets. They were just really old....so I did a search and found DJ's DIY tail light gasket solution. WHAT A STROKE OF GENIUS!! Plus, it works....for us newer fellas, here's the link:

        Yes, remember him!
Without him, and the many issues he over came, we wouldn't have FF.com at all!
The day many of us here will likely never forget is coming upon on us again!

April 13th would be 2 years. Doesn't seem that long.

This site was left in good hands though.

DJ was a great guy and is really missed around here.

He is the source of inspiration for many, including myself, and his death was a huge blow to the Festiva community.

another good material to use for gaskets if you have one laying around is inner tubes
              Thom-Lifes too short, don't blink

                  I'd like to!
The plan was to have small meets all over the country in his honor last year!
We had a few going, maybe get a few more this year.

I'm in the same boat as EJP2fast as far as never having known this place while DJ was here, but the fact that he's so fondly remembered here is a testament to the fine fellow he was...and I would also echo anomoly40's comment about his having left the site in good hands!
