Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

sits right above your dashpot. follow your fuel line tot he passenger side of the carb, then look back 1.5" toward the firewall. sidways canister lookin thing is your fuel cut valve.
still say you need a coil...

cool i cleaned it out. just a little needle solenoid.
not sure how to check the accel pump operation.
I also notice that the connectors on the plug off the distributor that went to the solenoid was very corroded so i cleaned them up and hit a bunch of other plugs with the sand paper so I am hoping this will help / get rid of the problem. If not, I will get a new coil and see if that helps.. and if no help after that I will go ahead and find a new carb / rebuild the carb.
