    I would double check evrey thing.
    If you have fuel and spark and as Festyboy most correctly said where there is compression there is air...the car should start...if the timing is off the car will run like dung but still run.

    make sure your cam is on the compression stroke when cyl 1 is at TDC and double check your rotor position on the distro. once all this is confirmed and you can verify good spark and injectors are actually flowing fuel, the car should run barring any ECM problems.

    the belt looks good but the timing marks are off the bottom pulley.it at1 on distorter on 1cylder TDC. Now what?????????????

    Hmmmm...what's the original problem?

    Timming? Just beacuse you have spark does not mean it's at the right time....then again....just off a little bit should create some backfire.

    Maybe to much or to little air...if this is the case...for an FI...at least it should start but not stay running.

    check the codes through check engine light
    before checking your timing, which you will need to be able to start your car to check!!!!
