If you have oil in your antifreeze, there is a good chance you have a cracked or warped head.http://www.cardomain.com/id/hawkdoc60

Yep, a cracked head is not necessarily noticeable at first. It gets worse with time.http://www.cardomain.com/id/hawkdoc60

a cracked head is a little extreme, guys.
More than likely, you have a leaking head gasket, allowing pressurized oil to push into the coolant system.
Yes, coolant in the oil will ruin you engine very quickly. Replace your head gasket ASAP.Jim DeAngelis

ya i am in the middle of a head gasket replacement. good idea would be to get your rad. pressure tested. local shop here did it for free. only takes a minute. probly wanna check out your thermostat too. i think it gets gummed up when your getting oil mixed in there. apparently you can test it by putting it in a pot of water on the stove and wait and see if it opens.light a man a fire and he'll stay warm for the night.

^^^sounds like a textbook blown head gasket. and yes it is very bad. do not ignore the problem and change the oil as much as possible. anit-freeze is like gasoline to an engine. not as destructive, but can build up and cause all kinds of problems. make sure to plane the head when you take it off so that it mates up cleanly with the new gasket."If you're not first you're last!" -Ricky Bobby
