I wouldn't torque all the other bolts down until that bolt is replaced. I feel its a bad idea considering they make that sequence so the head goes down on the head gasket properly, kind of like when you torque wheels down you need to go in a criss-cross pattern.

I don't have any spare head bolts. Has the bolt head just rounded off or has the bolt itself broken in two?

just got back from pick n pull. got a set of head bolts... among other things. got em free too! ya the heads just rounded, i know i torqued it right up to torque, was just making it perfect when it slipped. got the 12mm 12 point socket(works really good!) i would like to just leave it, but... it's already apart so might as well make sure. that "bolt out" looks pretty handy. gonna hafta grab me one of those. cheers

whew! that bolt came out like a bad case of jalepeno nachos no prob. ...funny though, when i got the head bolts from the jy 4 of em were clean as new 5 were heavily oiled and one looked like it had been sitting in a puddle of water. well, gotta see if i can get her running for work tomorrow. cheers
