A/C compressor

Well, I was just wondering since I don't have a belt running to the A/C anyways and I want to take it off, if I took out the compressor and all the piping running to the firewall if I could just leave it like that without having any problems down the road. And if so, I'm probably going to be selling the compressor down the road if anyone is interested.

im interested in compressor as long as its in good working condition ive had my belt off for a while no problems
