  • starter/combustion or that other thing...

Again i dont know how to call it in english, but that is that died at my mazda today..

Well, it is causing that car is swinging and making sound but cant start for a good -> fuel is going on, everything is ok, but there isnt a gleam / flash to continue working..

My friend mechanic said that it is starter / combustion thing with tube that i need to change [that thing that changes attention from 12V to loads of] xD

and the real problem is that there arent any festi's or mazda's with the same model to buy used part that fit's by year'ing and oryginal part will cost 1/2 of mycar price..

So any1 know if there is possibility of putting there part from other model?
for example fiesta or pride? [do prides has the old carburettor's engine or injection?]

    Help needed!

    cheers...

    jessey,

If you can post a picture of what you need, we may be able to better answer your question.

I think you are describing the distributor.

It sounds to me like he is describing a coil.

good possibility he means the ignition coil. I took starter/combustion thingy to mean the module in the distributor.

What's it? Module or coil? I have three of each.

replace coil (they are cheap enough) and clean out the inside of the distributor with brake clean or the like and let it dry out. then attempt to start again.

that looks like a DIS modual, if i remember correctly, you're car has a distributor, cap and rotor. that being the case, no, it won't work.

When I went to the items for sale links you posted, the prices were in zl. I was just wondering what that was in Euros. I can convert to U.S.$
                              Thanks.
