is there an alternator for a standard shift or an automatic or it fits both trans.?

There is, however, a difference between alternators for a carb as opposed to an FI...there's an extra lead that I understand goes to a choke or something on the carbs like mine.1989 Red L- The Baron

your right there is an extra red wire for the carb. ill have to check on the one im trying to buy and see if it has the extra connector, thanksComment
