My 92 ATX has the inner-most shield (called a guide-plate in the shop manual) but no screws. None are mentioned in the manual either. Only the four 10mm bolts hold the "stack" of stuff together. I don't know for sure. There may be some differences between the early/late two crankshaft nose diameters.

there are differances and that's proly one of them.Trees aren't kind to me...
