If the O2 sensor is original I'd change it since 130K is beyond it's useful life ... the temp sensor may be bad even though your dash guage reads OK ,, there is usually a seperate sensor that feeds data to the 'puter ,, I don't have a Festiva to look at to confirm though... the O2 sensor will be about $20 ,, the temp sensor will be about $5 ...

Temp sensor on my aspire is on the left side of the intake manifold I think.
Careful when installing the new one. My old one was steel, the new one was copper....I broke three of them. It takes about 5 ft/lbs to break one.www.dantheoilman.com

Just buy one at the auto parts store ,, ask for the one that connects to the computer... whatever one they give you change that one...

there is a wire that was broken off below what looks like the starter and i followed it and it look like it was on the bottom of the engine kinda close to the CV joint what chould this senor be and whould wire disconected be that big of a problem1989 Ford Ranger 177 2.9
